AIM of Insibidi Publishers
Progressively international publishing has become more and more financially difficult and out of reach to researchers mostly from developing countries. Research students are struggling to find journal outlets who are willing to accommodate their meagre financial base without sacrificing quality. This hurdle has slowed down the pace of technological development and research in developing countries and leading to outflux of students to international universities in developed countries. This outflux if not stemmed has potential to limit research from developing countries and erode the quality of research and development from a large array of young and developing institutions without huge financial outlay.
The growth of universities, research institutes and industry are usually supported by opportunities for researchers to express themselves through publications at reduced cost. Over the last fifteen years, emergence of ‘pay to publish’ (P2P) journals has limited publishing reputed research outputs and ability to publish by most institutions. Insibidi journals are established to reduce the costs of publishing while at the same time publishing high impact journal articles.
The goal and desire of Insibidi Publishers are to publish excellent peer reviewed articles without sacrificing quality, impact, and reach. Cutting down the cost of publishing will encourage more productive research and technology development.
Insibidi Publishers have therefore identified areas of common international research interests and created a menu of journals to support state of the art and high impact research findings in some of the leading research areas. These areas include artificial intelligence, data science, computational intelligence, quantum computing and applications, cyber security, mathematics, sciences, engineering, and energy.
Industry four and industry five will rely heavily on automation and skills in data handling to support emerging services and products. Big data processing and visualization, cloud computing, and new engineering areas such as AI engineering, robotics, mechatronics, and bio-computing in biological and chemical sciences will become more and more prominent in determining the future of industry. As the Internet of things (IoT) matures, precision agriculture, smart environments, autonomous vehicles, environmental sciences, and power from space and greater dependence on solar energy will support the emergence and establishment of industry four and five. These are areas of great interest to Insibidi Publishers.
Insibidi Journals are edited by expert subject matter editors drawn from all over the world. A significant number of them are ranked by Elsevier (SCOPUS) in the top two percent (2%) scholars and research scientists worldwide. Their role is to provide world class mentoring and publishing service and platform. The editors are selected primarily on individual merits with predominantly high citation indices in their areas in their technical domain. They have volunteered to support this new peer reviewed publication outlet with footprints worldwide. They support a menu of journal on various topics in the sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Insibidi Publishers extends invitation to emerging researchers, educationists, libraries and research and technology developers to use our services.
